DEVISING A MARKING CRITERIA FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF AUDIOVISUAL TRANSLATION PRODUCTS IN AN ACADEMIC CONTEXT

<p>Although publications on audiovisual translation are gaining more and attention, very little has been done its assessment (Kajzer-Wietrzny & Tymczyńska, 2015). In the workfield, is reviewed to be given ffedback. Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM), assessments need objectively assessed produce grades, in addition individual collective feedbacks. However, grading UBM always conducted subjectively. Subjective might result emotional judgment inappropriate For that reason, this research aims devise a marking criteria for of products an academic context, namely UBM. The divided into four categories, captioning, subtitling, audio description, dubbing. categories used each category needs have different criteria. This determines based market requirements as written literature. specifically developed those captioning Both with or rendering accuracy most significant criteria, followed by synchronies alignment second equal values formatting technical accuracies. These further tested reliability validity. addition, training schemes must administered considering there numerous specific terminologies them.</p>
